How did that happen?...

I started this post very early in the spring, back in January... and then seeding happened! Transplanting, planting, selling and the list goes on.

Today I will finish my post from earlier this year. Because today I have some time.

25 years?

Wow, how did that happen? I've been going thru oodles and oodles of pictures all documenting the journey our family has been on since opening up our business.

I still can't believe we are at the quarter of a century mark!!! Like how did that happen? Wasn't it just yesterday that little Natasha was running thru the greenhouse in her pretty dress helping us plant? ...Or lil' Katrina moving all the parsley pots into every corner of the greenhouses? ...tiny Angelina standing on the tables helping us plant petunias in blue crocs and her own little garden frock?

Well lil' Tasha is now 28 and she has 2 little ones of her own. Revan is a rambunctious 2 year old and loves grandmas greenhouse and the wide open spaces to run. Zannah isn't too far behind her big sister and although she's crawling everywhere(and she's fast) I'm sure she wishes she could run with her sis!

Katrina has her life in the big city and comes for visits yearly (and she leaves with her carry-on bags stuffed with plants and cuttings to take back with her to add to her jungle like apartment.

Angelina just got married here at the greenhouse last weekend! She and her hubby Daniel and their son Lakelyn live in town but she visits often and she spent quite a lot of days helping her momma in the greenhouse :)

Back in 2000 we were still a pretty small operation, we had one little bitty greenhouse of 3600 square feet, now we are well over the 13000 sq. foot mark with our 5 greenhouse bays, a Tropical House, and we have a cute little garden shoppe too!

Back then we were just seasonal, just open in the spring. Now we go pretty much year round with the exception of being closed in January.(and this summer because we just needed a break) Afterall we were working so hard all spring long(and I'm not getting any younger)

We have seen some incredible changes in our gardening journey, and have had some challenges too...but boy its been an adventure! One that keeps growing and I'm excited to see where this dream goes!

Thank you to everyone along the way! Family, friends, customers...we couldn't have done it without you!

I'm going to keep this post short today as there's at least 100lbs of pickling cucumbers calling my name!
